The NetBeans IDE 7.3 has been released on 21-02-2013. The plugin GlassFish v1, v2.x is not available in the list anymore. But during start of the new version the plugins of the previous netbeans version can be take over. In right botton an mini icon will be displayed which can be used to start the additionally installation.
The Java/JSF Forum Package has been reprogramed, so that it is possible now to create hierarchic sub forums. Forum topics kan be created on every forum level. Forum path and sub forums will be shown directly as page title and allow so fast navigation. The forum URL is build SEO optimized and contains all forum names of the path and the topic title.
Using control buttons you can adapt now the website automatically to the available window size. The settings will be saved per AJAX into the user session. The standard width is more pleasant for reading text, while utilization of the screen is more optimal for working with very large tables.
The bug in the JavaScript input date element, which shows an error message at 31. of a month, although the date was valid, has been fixed now. The method setFullYear set now all three date details (year, month, day), which avoids that JavaScript calculates date parts automatically.
When an input field inside the grid component is activated, the cursor will now be positioned always at the end of the text.
